Senior Partner & Global Leader
Brian Ruwadi leads Periscope® By McKinsey globally. In addition, he is also a leader in McKinsey’s Consumer practice where he has served a wide range of retail and consumer-goods organizations, including apparel, grocery, food-service, and department-store sectors.
Brian also oversees major transformation programs, addressing areas such as pricing and promotions, supply-chain efficiency, marketing and operational excellence, capability building, and performance management. Before joining McKinsey, he led the development of a regional bank’s customer-outreach program, where he built a best-practice approach, and then brought the people within the organization along on the journey to apply it.
Brian holds a MS in Operations Research from Case Western Reserve University.
Partner, Founder, Senior Advisor & Head of Innovation
Brian Elliott has been a founding member of Periscope® By McKinsey. Brian served as Managing Partner from 2012 to 2018. During his leadership, Periscope® scaled from a startup environment into one of the top global revenue growth analytics solutions in the market with accolades from Gartner, Forrester, IDC, ALM Intelligence, Promotion Optimization Institute, and CIO Review. In his current role as Senior Advisor & Head of Innovation he is leading our long-term solution innovations and market expansion.
In addition, he is also a leader in McKinsey’s Marketing & Sales Practice and leads major revenue growth transformation programs, driving sustained client impact.
As an entrepreneur and inventor, Brian has grown and led the Global Consumer Pricing practice for 8 of his 20+ years with McKinsey. Since joining McKinsey in 1997, he has served advanced materials, chemicals, high-tech, consumer goods, pharmaceutical, and retail clients concerned with achieving profitable growth, including over 12 end-to-end transformation journeys. He is particularly well known for his focus on commercial transformations and innovations in revenue management (e.g. co-inventor of brand ladders, pack curves, breakeven elasticity matrix, and innovations in the use of transferable demand and heuristic scoring in both data rich and data poor environments) and his personal experience in building client revenue management capabilities in over 37 industries and 23 countries. He is also a frequent speaker at international conferences to share his passion for bringing more Science to the Art of Sales and Marketing.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Brian worked in research, development, and manufacturing for a variety of companies, including Allied Signal and Hoechst-Celanese, and for academic joint ventures in electronic packaging and utilities.
Brian holds a PhD in materials science from Northwestern University as well as two bachelor degrees in mechanical and materials engineering from Cornell University. In addition, he holds multiple patents, invention disclosures and is published in Nature.
Partner, Founder, Head of global B2B Industries
Stuart Schardin is a Founder of Periscope® By McKinsey and leads all global B2B Industry activities. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring success of B2B clients in using Periscope® and for driving the solutions’ vision to address current and future needs of the dynamically changing market landscape.
Stuart joined Periscope® in 2009 and has led its global scale-up, in particular in extending the solution suite and reach into new sectors and geographies and building up the Periscope® organization and operations globally. Since joining McKinsey in 2004, he has served B2B and B2C clients in the financial services, health care, high-tech, retail, and consumer goods industries. He has served clients on a range of topics including strategy, salesforce effectiveness, pricing and margin management and promotions. Prior to joining McKinsey, Stuart worked in business development and principal investing.
Stuart holds an MBA with Honors from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
Partner, Head of global B2C Industries
Channie Mize leads all global B2C Industry activities for Periscope® By McKinsey. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring success of consumer goods and retail clients in using Periscope and for driving the solutions’ vision to address current and future needs of the dynamically changing market landscape.
Channie is a leader who has “been there and done that” before with more than 15 years of experience in retail across consulting, software, and actual “in-seat” roles. Before joining McKinsey in 2015, she was the VP of Pricing Strategy, Category Management, Merchandise Planning & Analytics at Office Depot for both the retail stores and digital channels. Channie also has management consulting experience from Accenture, where she served a broad range of retailers across many topics including pricing, assortment, allocation / planning and ERP implementations.
Further, Channie spent several years at DemandTec leading SaaS deployments and ensuring continued client success.
Channie holds a BS in Economics and a BA in Communication from Purdue University.

Zachary John leads Client Delivery & Engineering across all Solutions and served Industry Sectors for Periscope® By McKinsey. In this role, he is responsible for our Product and Client Service strategies and the successful execution of our offerings to achieve the highest and sustained client impact.
Most recently, Zachary was Vice President of Business Operations at Yahoo! overseeing the successful growth of both Yahoo!’s mobile and video product efforts, along with leading multiple strategic B2B product partnerships with global media and mobile companies. Prior to Yahoo!, Zachary was a Senior Product Manager at Google focused on social platform monetization, as well as a former Engagement Manager in McKinsey’s Seattle office focused on strategy and solutions developments for ecommerce and CPG clients. Zachary has been recognized for his strategic though leadership, ability to deliver end-to-end solutions at scale, and team building capabilities.
Zachary holds a Bachelor and Master of Engineering from University of Michigan and an MBA from INSEAD.
Head of Product & Technology
Stan Himpe oversees all technology platform and solutions engineering for Periscope® By McKinsey. Stan has been passionate about designing and developing products long before joining Periscope® By McKinsey over 8 years ago. Located in New York, he leads the product management and development teams containing over 250 people globally. He has been key in translating the McKinsey pricing and revenue management expertise within the Pricing Practice into a suite of SaaS product offerings using Agile development. Furthermore, Stan plays an instrumental part of translating client requirements into industry leading solutions.
Before joining Periscope® By McKinsey Stan worked at a technology consulting firm specialized in technology strategy and innovation.
Stan holds a BS and MS in Electromechanical Engineering from KULeuven University and an MBA from Vlerick Leuven Gent Business School.

Phil Ichallalene leads a truly global client service organization for Periscope® By McKinsey. He is located in New York. In his role, he oversees a team of 300+ solution delivery, client success and client operations experts, across a global network, including near and off-shore Centers of Excellence. He is responsible for ensuring exceptional delivery of our solutions, as well as driving ongoing operational improvements to deliver a better client experience.
Phil has 20+ years of experience in consulting and software, with a strong track record of building and managing consulting practices. Prior to joining McKinsey Solutions, Phil led JDA Software's Asia Pacific Consulting Services Group, as Group Vice President and member of the global leadership team. Prior to JDA, he was part of KPMG's Asia Pacific Retail Group, managing large retail solution implementations for companies in North America and Asia Pacific. He started his career in retail head office merchandising and operations.

Christian Koestler leads all global marketing & communications and external relations for Periscope® By McKinsey. With more than 20 years' experience in analytics and big data enterprise software applications, Christian has served clients within product lifecycle management, data analytics and price intelligence solutions in the retail, consumer products, high-tech, online travel and automotive industries. He has extensive international experience serving clients across industries and continents, running sales, marketing, business development, and partner networks.
Prior to its acquisition by Periscope®, Christian led the leading online competitive intelligence company, Lixto. Before Lixto, he held the position of Director Automotive Europe with Agile, a leading global provider of Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management Solutions (acquired by Oracle). Christian spent over 15 years in several general management and sales management positions, helping to grow software businesses from local companies to global players. Early in his career, Christian worked for Philips and Siemens as an application engineer.
Christian holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Vienna Institute of Technology and a degree from the Vienna Business School.
Sr. Solution Leader, Marketing Solutions
Lars Fiedler leads the Marketing Solutions portfolio for Periscope® Marketing Solutions. In his role he is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact. He has 10+ years experience in marketing domains such as personalization, marketing efficiency, advanced analytics, Media Mix Modeling, and Customer Lifecycle Management.
Lars has worked on a broad range of personalization, marketing effectiveness, MROI projects, branding, and marketing strategy projects across industries and geographies such as leading a Personalization Advisor deployment at a global hard goods retailer, large-scale marketing transformation project at a US mobile player, reducing marketing spend at a global consumer goods company, and optimizing marketing budget allocation for a leading European utility. Prior to joining the Marketing Solutions team, Lars was an Associate Principal in McKinsey’s EMEA Marketing and Sales Practice with a focus on CLM and advanced analytics. He was also one of the European leaders in McKinsey’s Consumer Marketing Analytics Center (CMAC).
Sr. Solution Leader, Insight Solutions
Augusto Moreno leads the Insight Solution portfolio for Periscope® Insights Solutions, comprised of an Insights team and Data Science and Consumer Decision Research analysts across the entire suite of Periscope solutions. Prior to his current role, he served as the Head of Strategy and Innovation for Periscope®, having joined as a member of the founding team of McKinsey Solutions, and before that spent 10 years as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, bringing advanced analytics to clients across the consumer, energy, and B2B sectors around the world.
Augusto holds a BA in Chemical Engineering and Thermodynamics from UNAM, Mexico, and an MSc in Operations Research from Berkeley, California.
Solution Leader, Customer Experience Solutions
Victoria Bough leads the Customer Experience Solutions portfolio for Periscope® Marketing Solutions. In her role she is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact. She also manages alliances with customer experience technology providers.
Before joining Customer Experience Solutions, Victoria launched and led the global consulting business for Forrester Research, creating five practices to deliver research-based consulting services. Prior to that role, she led Forrester’s global Customer Experience Practice, which delivers research and advisory services to corporate clients. She started her career as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney, where she led cross-functional engagements for clients in the technology and consumer products sectors.
Victoria holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a master of science in foreign service from Georgetown University. She received her undergraduate degree in international relations from Tufts University.

Tom Young leads the Category Solutions portfolio for Periscope® By McKinsey. In his role he is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact.
Tom combines 20 years of management consulting expertise with creative entrepreneurship to build and bring to market leading solutions in assortment and promotion optimization. He invented the ground-breaking RichMix Assortment optimization solution while with Cannondale Associates (subsequently acquired by Kantar). Tom was Product Development Director at Aegis (owner of Carat and Synovate), founding centers of excellence to optimize advertising effectiveness - the Aegis Product Lab and Aegis Tool Centre.

Filip Linmans leads the B2C Pricing Solutions portfolio for Periscope® Marketing Solutions. In her role she is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact. Filip loves putting technology to work to solve business problems and has been designing and developing products using agile methods for 15+ years.
He started his career out in banking and insurance, spent several years in consulting and worked at two start-ups before joining McKinsey. Filip has a keen interest in machine learning and is excited about applying these concepts to the products he is building.
Filip holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Hasselt, an MS in Computer Science from KULeuven University, a degree in management from the University of Hasselt and an MBA from Vlerick Business School.

Nicolas leads the B2B Pricing Solutions portfolio for Periscope® By McKinsey. In his role he is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact. Nicolas joined Periscope® in 2011 and has since then supported more than 50 commercial transformation programs for B2B clients, mainly in chemicals, medical devices, and manufacturing. His focus has been on advanced analytics in pricing, front-line capability building and the deployment of commercial and pricing performance management systems. Nicolas has a passion for designing efficient and user-friendly products and has pioneered many of the innovations in Periscope®.
Before joining Periscope® By McKinsey, Nicolas was a generalist consultant at McKinsey, in Luxembourg and in South Africa.

Russell Groves leads the B2B Sales Solutions portfolio for Periscope® By McKinsey. In his role he is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact. Driving improve revenue growth and sales productivity for clients.
Russell has 15+ years’ experience improving the design and performance of marketing & sales teams, both as a McKinsey consultant and as an executive in multiple software solutions companies. He specializes in helping businesses grow faster through better sales management processes, frontline capability building, and deployment of sales technology. Since 2010, Russell has held several executive positions leading enterprise software solutions, including product management and product strategy, operational performance, acquisitions, and alliances. He has worked at Intergraph Corporation, a provider of geospatial software solutions for energy, infrastructure, and telecom companies and at PowerPlan Inc, a provider of financial optimization software solutions for energy and infrastructure companies. He spent the first 9 years of his career as a marketing & sales consultant at McKinsey. His experience included assisting clients in technology, materials, and services industries on a range of commercial excellence topics, including sales force effectiveness, go-to-market optimization, price optimization, and marketing.

Marcus Herzog leads the Market Vision solution for Periscope® By McKinsey. In his role he is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact. Marcus has served consumer goods, retail, travel and transportation, and advanced industry clients with innovative solutions for online market research, competitive intelligence, and supply-chain integration. He combines entrepreneurship with deep knowledge in information processing and business analytics to create market-leading product offerings.
Prior to joining, Marcus was co-founder and Managing Director of Lixto Software, acquired by Periscope® in 2013. He led the product management as well as the client service organization and developed Lixto from a startup into a leading provider of online competitive intelligence services. Before founding Lixto, Marcus was a faculty member of the Computer Science Department at the Vienna University of Technology working in the fields of internet technology, data science, and artificial intelligence. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and co-inventor of two US patented methods for web data extraction.
Marcus holds a PhD in Computer Science, an M.Arch from the Vienna University of Technology, and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management.

Phil Hudelson leads the shared data & technology platforms for Periscope By McKinsey, including the Performance Vision and Data Science Platform solutions. In his role he is responsible for the global solution capability development and successful deployments to drive client impact.
Phil primarily serves clients in the B2B industries - including basic materials, chemicals, and advanced industry clients - with innovative solutions for performance management, pricing analytics, and discount management. Prior to joining Periscope, Phil was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey focused on serving clients in the Global Energy & Materials sector on a diverse set of topics from Supply Chain, Procurement, to Working Capital management.
Phil holds a PhD in mathematics from Penn State University, and a Bachelors in mathematics and medieval studies from the University of Notre Dame.
