New York – December 14, 2017 – Periscope® By McKinsey, a suite of solutions focusing on price, promotion, assortment, sales and marketing optimization to achieve sustainable revenue growth, today announced that its retail assortment management applications were named as one of the top three Product Scores for Category Management and Category Optimization (both in Grocery and CPG) in Gartner’s “Critical Capabilities for Retail Assortment Management Applications” Research Report (November 2017). In addition, it was listed amongst the top five Product Scores for Assortment Planning – General Merchandise. The Critical Capabilities report, according to Gartner, is offered “as an essential companion to the Gartner Magic Quadrant, [the] methodology provides deeper insight into providers' product and service offerings by extending the Magic Quadrant analysis.” In the related “Magic Quadrant for Retail Assortment Management Applications,” 17 vendors were evaluated against 15 criteria for ability to execute and completeness of vision.
